An old design process I use to go through. This often created stiff looking characters. Scan, import, and thrown into Photoshop. That is where I would take it and with the pen tool, vectorize the shapes of the character, block by block. It was always a soothing process.

I am thinking about doing more of this, but here is my take on the Pokemon, Gastly.

I don't care for teams, or slander campaigns, but here is my take on the 2012 presidential election. Thanks to the Olympic Diving team.

Here is an animation I made, lifting a heavy object. (animation only) Note: This is not the most recent version.

A Quadraped Cycle I made. Credit for animation only.

Without sound, here is my introduction movie, that I will (after revisions) use on my demo reel.

Here is a rough model preview of a T-rex model I sculpted.

A good ol' breakdown video. Here is some of my manipulation techniques when it comes to photoshop, and photos that need a little more pizzazz.

Frog Model I created. This character is what a rastafarian, mixed with a frog would create.

This was a materials and lighting application project I did. None of the topology are any work of mine.

Experiencing space is something most of us will not probably be able to do (at least in our lifetimes). So, I'll do the next best thing, send a character of mine there. This is John, and he through a series of events, got to experience this for himself.

This guy is a mystery in mind when it comes to his basic profile. So no name for now. Otherwise, I know why he is out here. That reason, work. This is just a shot I wanted to capture of a character wanting to take a break from the day . What do you think?

This room design originally stemmed from an inappropriate matching of a terrible zombie creature. After working on this for some time, I lost interest in that idea and decided this needed a better suited host. Perhaps this can be the room that Watermelon always desired, or perhaps this can be left with another nameless character...

This character was so unfortunate to receive the role of tickle monster. The chosen one is then burdened with the task tickling Earth's children, whether they be willing or not. With at least a little luck, this particular fellow gets the benefit keeping his human face, however "good" that might be.

Farmer character I had worked on. I'm having a bit of trouble with a non regrettable name (leaning towards a Vick). Other than that, this one is a freelance for stories.

Simply "Dave" for now. This is Dave after a rough day. Wife left him for good, fired from work, and then on his way to his car, was mugged.

"Sombra" character design. This character is creature of the night who feeds on night, and projects it through it's eyes. It's fond of satellite dishes, and the knowledge they hold inside.
This was what I was originally working on. I enjoyed this character alot, so I gave him a turn around afterwards.

One of my favorite characters to work with. "Watermelon." This character is inspired from my youngest sister, and her crazy hair. It's definitely my favorite to illustrate on her. Here's what a digital sketchbook of her would look like on a daily basis.

Watermelon in an calm, outside environment.

If I kept a digital notebook, it would look something like this.

... I should probably start on one now.
Bear design.
